Water Pre-Treatment Units
Water Treatment in industry is realized by; “Disinfection, Removal of Iron and Mangan, Coagulation, Sedimentation, Softening, Decarbonization and after these processes by Filtration”. All these processes are called PRE-TREATMENT. EKE INDUSTRY Pre-Treatment Plants are being established automatically and delivered on turnkey basis. The productions of this stage are listed below: Cascade Aerators, Lime-Soda Reactors, Clarifiers, Sludge Dewatering Units, Filters, Decarbonization and Chemical Substance Preparation/Storing/Dosing Units
Filtration and Softening Units
Filtration Units:
Filter types that filter water efficiently in single and tandem (spared), with columns made of steel resistant to pressure.
Softening Units:
Filter types that filter water efficiently in single and tandem (spare), with columns made of steel resistant to pressure. These are ideal solutions for drinking water, process water, air conditioner, cooling tower, steam and boiler feeding water.
In tandem (spared) devices, when one of the two softening columns is in regeneration, the other one continues producing soft water.

Water Disinfection Plants:
The most important subject in water disinfection is attention and care due to the most suitable selection for the nature of the plant to be established.
Demineralization Water Plants
These systems are suggested for providing boiler feeding water and sensitive process water. For this purpose, dissolved salt in the water, silica and carbon dioxide are removed. Ion exchangers and degasser are used in this process. Ion exchanging means changing one ion with another ion. This process is realized by using resin. Resin, Cation exchanging resin, Anion exchanging resin and a combination of these can be used. The most important criteria in demineralization process determining the system design is raw water analysis. The analysis must be realized by an experienced laboratory and presented as a report that has balanced ions.
Reverse Osmosis Systems
Water Disinfection Plants:
These plants are started to be used in electronics, pharmaceuticals, glass industry, power plants, cleaning products industry, general chemistry industry, hemodialyses processes in order to produce high quality water in the last 20 years. It has been preferred because of its high reducing capacity.
Reverse Osmosis systems must have a very good pre-filtration group.
Combined Ion Exchanging Systems
These systems are used as polishing units at the treatment of low ionized waters or the outrun of ion exchangers and Reverse Osmosis Plants. Cationic and anionic ion exchanges provide a lower investment cost in the same column. The quality of the Deionized water supplied by Combined Ion Exchanger is as follows:
Conductivity : max. 0,3 microSiemens/cm Silica : max. 0,02 mg SiO2/liters
pH : 7 (±0,5)
Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plants
Industrial waste waters having different specifications must be cleaned by treating with various chemical and/or biological methods, and discharged into the receiving environment. EKE INDUSTRY predicates on the “Receiving Environment Discharge Standards of Water Pollution Control Regulations” for the water quality while establishing plants. Two different designs are available according to the capacity of industrial waste water, consisting of “constructional” for high flow rate or “package” for low flow rate around 1-10 m3/h. There are important solutions brought by the company both for waste water problem and taking up space and transportation. In this scope, besides the processes of Oil Removal, Chrome Removal, CN-fractioning, Heavy Metal Removal, Neutralization, Flocculation, Sedimentation and Filtration, and also Biological Treatment and Sludge Removal units take place.
Domestic Waste Water Treatment Plants
EKE INDUSTRY produces solutions in two different designs consisting of “constructional or package type domestic waste water treatment plants” according to the area of the accommodation units. These plants are not affected by the flow rate and also they don’t need precipitation.
EKE INDUSTRY suggests EKEPAK Domestic Waste Water Treatment Units for a capacity of 100-600 people. For a domestic waste water treatment with higher capacity, the system can be increased modularly. The maintenance of these units are easy and quickly installable. They can be produced in a short time, occupy a little space, can be transported easily and easy to install/uninstall.
If required, EKEPAK can be located under the ground.
The water coming out of EKEPAK can be discharged into the environment or be used for irrigation.

Sludge Removal
Sludge coming out in result of waste water treatment process must be removed from the environment properly according to the “Solid Waste Regulation”. For this purpose, sludge is cleared out of water and sludge cake is obtained. Sludge cakes in domestic quality can be evaluated as fertilizer if requested.

Waste Water Recovery Plants
It is possible to recover all kinds of waste water from domestic to industrial types. The waste water can be recovered by the below processes:
Irrigation can be realized by the water recovered domestic waste water. The waste water recovered at the industrial establishments can be used for cooling, washing, boiler feeding, fire and chimney gas removal. Especially in Metal Industry, for recovery of precious metal and electrolyte, ion exchanging process is suggested. With this process, 90% recovery is possible.
